Mathieu Kassovitz

Mathieu Kassovitzis a French actor, director, producer, and screenwriter who emerged in the early 1990s. He gained recognition as an actor with See How They Fall (1994), winning the César Award for Most Promising Actor.

He achieved major success as a director with La Haine (1995), which won César Awards for Best Film and Best Editing, and earned him nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay. The film also won Best Director at Cannes.

Alongside directing, he built an international acting career, appearing in films such as Amélie (2001) and Munich (2005).

Kassovitz is known for socially driven storytelling and remains an influential figure in French cinema.
